Caroline Meehan
A bit about me...
I am currently a fourth-year student at Northeastern University, studying mechanical engineering with a minor in computer science.
I have a passion for design and early product development and hope to leverage my combined degrees to make an impact in the consumer electronics space.
I have completed two six month internships, or co-ops, both in the Boston area. The first was at Boston Scientific Corporation, where I worked in Research and Development in their Endoscopy department on the design and testing of single-use endoscopes. My second was at Bose Corporation in their Concept Prototyping group. My main role was to help ideate possible new products by quickly building and iterating on the group's designs. I thrived working in this fast-paced environment and hope to do more work like this in the future.
I am the Vice President of NU Club Running and have run three marathons while at university. I will be running my fourth at the 2024 Boston Marathon. I also started a program with my team that bi-annually collects used running shoes and donates them to Nike's Grind Program, which recycles shoes into Nike product, athletic facilities, and more.
In my spare time, I love to hike and recently took up bouldering. I completed eight of New Hampshire's forty-eight "4000ft-ers" this summer, and hope to finish off the list over the next few years.
